The Sun City Community Assistance Network (Sun City CAN) is an organization of volunteers that provides free assistance to low-income seniors, disabled persons and others in meeting their basic needs and maintaining an independent lifestyle.

SCCOA Information
Sun City COA Inc. operates as a non-profit corporation under Arizona statutes. The COA is governed by a Board of Directors all of whom are volunteers. The COA was founded in 1973 by a volunteer group of chairmen of individual Associations with the purpose of providing guidance and assistance to the individual boards. There are 384 associations with 9,600 units and approximately 16,000 residents who live in these associations.

The purpose of the manuals, handouts, publications, listening posts, and workshops is to provide information from a variety of sources for the members. Neither the Sun City COA or its Directors shall have either liability or responsibility to any person, organization or entity with respect to any loss or damage caused or alleged to be caused, directly or indirectly, by any information provided.
SCCOA distributes newsletters that include timely and informative data for unit owners. A link to the SCCOA website and links to the current year's online newsletters are provided below. The previous year's newsletters are available in the Archives section.

Epcor Water Rebate
Sun City low-income condo residents may be eligible to receive a check for $120 every six month from EPCOR Water. To be eligible for the program you must live in a condo or an apartment in Sun City or Youngtown. Your monthly income must be less than $2,265 (single) or $3,052 (two person).
If you think you are eligible for the condo water rebate program, call Sun City CAN and make an appointment to meet with one of their Benefits Assistance Counselors. They will provide the application forms and assistance in filling them out.
